Private by design
Your favourites, mixes, and settings stay on your device. MoonEase contains no advertising SDKs and no remote behavioural analytics. A simple email account can unlock the app on your phone, but your listening history is not sent to JPott Studios as a cloud profile.
Premium packs may use a private download identity so the store can check your purchase. Read the full privacy policy for what is stored and when.

Do not use sleep audio where reduced alertness or masked environmental sound could create danger, including while driving or operating equipment. Sound that helps you fall asleep is sound that hides what is happening around you. Keep it for the times when that is what you want.

Questions
Is Premium a subscription?
Yes. MoonEase Premium is $9.99 a month or $49.99 a year. It renews automatically until you cancel it through your App Store or Google Play account. A free trial is offered only when the checkout sheet confirms you are eligible and tells you the terms.
Does it work without a connection?
The twenty-three included sounds and all five stories work on your device with no connection. A connection is needed once, to download a Premium sound pack; after that the downloaded sounds play offline too.
Do I need an account?
You can unlock the app with a simple email account on your device. Your listening history stays local. When you download a Premium pack, the app may also create a private download identity so the server can check your purchase. You can delete account data from Settings.
Is the music licensed from somewhere?
No. The three sleep-music beds are original ambient audio made for MoonEase, not licensed tracks. The stories are original prose. When a bundled narration file is available, the app plays that recording; otherwise it can fall back to your device’s built-in voice.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. You can back up your profile, listening history, favourites, mixes, and theme to a file at any time. It is an ordinary JSON file that stays on your device unless you move it somewhere yourself, so store it somewhere you trust.
How do I restore Premium on a new phone?
Use the restore option in Settings while signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you subscribed with. See support if it doesn’t appear.
